The woofer cone sports an injection-moulded polypropylene design reinforced with aramid fibre and mica, for smooth handling and hard-hitting low-end output. The speaker's deeper basket design allows Pioneer's exclusive suspension system to keep the cone in control during your music's peak moments, so those kick drums won't sound off-kilter. And Pioneer didn't forget about those higher frequencies — the inline dome tweeter brings all the details from your tunes to life.

Features
Woofers: Each speaker has an aramid fiber and mica reinforced injection-molded polypropylene (IMPP) woofer cone. This process of cone molding assures a uniform cone thickness to improve linearity and clarity. Additionally, the cones are lightweight and rigid to decrease distortion.
Tweeters: The speakers feature Polyetherimide (PEI) tweeters. PEI is a polymer film that produces a wide sound-stage for superior imaging.
Mounting Applications: While Pioneer describes these speakers as 6x8, they can be used in both 5x7 and 6x8 applications. Please enter your vehicle information to confirm compatibility.
No Grilles: No grilles are included with this speaker.
Bottom Mount Brackets: When bottom mounting, the bottom mount brackets are placed on top of the speakers. If you are top mounting the speakers, and they are too deep, the bottom mount brackets can be placed under the speaker baskets and act as a spacer. In this case the depth is reduced to 2.153" and the mounting height is increased to 0.702".
